Detoxify the body with asana class consisting of a specially sequenced series asana (postures), pranayama, mudra and bandhas that will activate and purify the digestive system, urinary and other systems of the body.
Further explore other yogic cleansing practices; hatha yoga kriyas, diet, pranayama and acupressure that
will revitalize and transform your body, but also with meditation and yoga nidra that will purify the mind and
subtle body by clearing our energy pathways (the nadis), free us from stress, and awaken our vital energies;
the prana; our vital life force, the chakras and Kundalini so will will revitalize and transform our entire body,
mind and spirit!

Yogi Amitram was born in the Holy City of Varanasi, India. He formerly attended university where he received his BA, and postgraduate education in Information Management. After some time working in the corporate world with a successful career in the insurance industry , he decided to leave that world behind to study and practice a Yogic - Sattvic (balanced life). He spent years studying with Great Masters such as Swami Ramdev, the Late Swami Satyananda Saraswati of the Bihar School of Yoga and Yogi Visvhvketu of World Conscious Yoga Family and other renowned teachers and institutions. Yogi Amitram now devotes his life for the well-being of society by sharing his methods and techniques in yoga asana, pranayama, meditation, and yoga nidra by helping others improve their health and wellness and reach their highest potential and find their own balance. Yogi Amitram currently resides in Northern India and travels internationally to teach others to achieve this balance of the body, mind, and spirit.

us right through to the end of that moon cycle (Feb. 14).

There are no additional fees for this program, just regular class fees. Each class you attend at 5 Eelements gives you 2 points, each hour of yoga you practice at home gives you 1 point. Points will be tallied at the end of the month and some of the prizes (above and beyond your newly evolved self!!) include: 1 Thai Yoga Massage, I Free Month of Unlimited Yoga, Gift Certificates to various Brampton businesses (Sushi House, Hooper's Pharmacy and more coming soon!)

Let's start the New Year with an inspiring shaktified ("shakti" is the yoga word for energy) evening of free-form dance and yoga-inspired movement on Friday, January 15, 2010 from 8 p.m.-10 p.m. coming again soon...check back regularly!!

postures with spontaneous free form dance that resonates with the
5 Elements: earth (stable, grounding, slow movement), water (flow,
fluid, creative movement), fire (fast, transformative action), air
(breath, wind) and space (consciousness, emergence, freedom, being).
Infused with loud, lively and inspiring music and NO yoga mats required. Join
us for an exciting and liberating journey through the elements and
the merging of Yoga and Dance.

:IMPORTANT UPDATE: ALL donations raised will be donated to the Red Cross Haiti Earthquake Relief Effort and we will be joined in the latter half of the Trance Dance by renowned musician Jeff Salem from Salem Drums (www.salemdrum.com) who will be offering LIVE DRUMMING!! Our hearts and prayers go out to the people in Haiti at this time. Every little bit of relief helps and is immediately needed!!
